PAF Fund Drive Blog- Day 2

Day 2 of the Fund Drive and we are beginning to receive inquiries about prospects and renewals for this year’s campaign which is great to see.  Renewals are the strongest base of our annual fundraising and some of our most passionate supporters.  Renewals provide the PAF with the greatest opportunity to increase their support and provide new cash donations due to their familiarity with the PAF and understanding of their impact on Pacific Athletics.

Although each volunteer was supplied with resources at our training session, we have additional materials at the office and that we will share at the Report Sessions that can be provided as you meet new prospects.  Also, I have a few Fund Drive Volunteers who still need to receive their Fund Drive Training Manual binder and resources that will assist in your outreach in the community with potential donors.

Tip of the Day:  Ask yourself why you support Pacific Athletics.  “Know YOUR Why” and share your own personal story (testimonial) about why you support the PAF and Pacific Athletics.  Your story will relate to prospects by providing them with the spark that they need to understand their own “Why” and how they can help make a difference for our student-athletes.

Reminder – the first Report Session will be held on May 1st from 12-1 PM at the Alumni House. Please RSVP by accepting your calendar request to be sent out again this week.  Please notify us by accepting or declining the invite and be sure to notify us if you RSVP and are unable to attend.  We will be providing lunch at each report session and need a count of who will be in attendance at each meeting.
