PAF Fund Drive Blog- Day 3

Day 3 of the Fund Drive and the renewals are starting to grow each day along with several current PAF members who have upgraded their donation levels.  Thank you to those volunteers who have made arrangements to pick up their Fund Drive Training Manuals and additional materials to share with potential donors in the community.

As we begin our campaign towards reaching our Fund Drive goal of $50,000 in new cash over the next 6 weeks, we are contributing towards our overall department goal of $500,000 in funds that are over the course of the entire year. The money raised contributes towards our Base Scholarship Obligation of $250,000 to the University and all additional funds contributes towards the Impact Fund (see Infographic in Fund Drive Training Manual).  Every amount donated during this time period is vital to the success of our campaign/program.

Tip of the Day:  Continue to use your own personal story and the story of each of our programs as a way to highlight Pacific Athletics and the impact donations have on the success of the program.  Here a few of the most recent success stories from our athletic programs that you can use as talking points when speaking to potential donors in the community:

  • Men’s Basketball- Recently received two commitments from South Plains Junior College, 6’3” Roberto Gallinat and 6’5” Jahlil Tripp
  • Women’s Volleyball- Andie Shelton, Lexi Elman, and Emily Baptista receive All-WCC honors
